Can lead escape in winter fishing? Do these steps well to enlarge the fish mouth and not miss small signals
Generally speaking, in winter, the water temperature is low, the fish activity is poor, and the fish mouth is often light, so anglers usually take the "fishing spirit" approach. What if we run into water? We have to be slow to catch fish and use running lead in response to the plan of swimming. But the fish mouth is light in winter. Can running lead signal? How to catch this fish!
First of all, it is certain to run lead, because in some places there is no way to catch fish without running lead. If there is no way to catch fish, what is the strength of the mouth? However, the problems of weak mouth and small signal must also be taken into account. So let's try to find a way based on the dullness of fishing. I mean "finding the spirit in the dullness".
In the past, when I lived in Hangzhou, the river over there used to swim twice a day, and the same is true in winter. Then the fish were still very small, usually in one or two liang. If there is no regular lead for big run, it's just that the efficiency is very low and there is not much fishing. How do I solve this problem? Now let's share with you how many points to operate.
Slow flow must be the first choice in places where water flows
No matter when and where to fish, the fishing position is very important. The low temperature in winter is more important for "people looking for fish", so the fishing position has become the top priority.
As long as you find that you are walking in the water at the fishing point, you must first find a place where you can't walk in the water or where the water flow is relatively slow, such as a bay, or where there are obstacles such as water plants.
If the water flow is fast or the fishing environment is simple, you can not find a completely static fishing position, but it is also good to find a place where the water flow is relatively slow. On the one hand, fish like to stay in such places, and on the other hand, it is convenient for us to operate.
To add, if the terrain of your fishing spots is complex, for example, there are many migratory bays, then based on some choices, we need to find a larger place with uneven or aquatic plants underneath, where fish prefer to stay!
If you can use trot lead, try not to use big trot lead
Why does it say to look for a place where the water flow is relatively gentle? Because the water flow can be relatively slow, we have room for operation. The lead for jogging can't be used in case of heavy water flow, but you can find the position where the water flow is slow, and the lead for jogging can be used, so the sensitivity will be improved a lot.
I have talked about the lead in jogging several times before, but I found that some novice anglers could not distinguish the lead in jogging from the lead in big running by reading the comments. Here is a brief introduction:
There is no need to adjust the float in the big run. The lead is dropped to the bottom directly. The whole fishing group is unbalanced. The importance of the fall is far greater than the traction of the float.
The trot lead needs to be adjusted. The method is to level the water without hook and hook up the bait to catch one, two or three eyes. The state is "eight figure ring" to the end. In fact, the fishing group under this adjustment method is relatively balanced, but the underwater part is slightly focused (mainly the weight of the bait).
It should be noted that the trot lead must be equipped with a short sub thread, which is only five or six centimeters long. If your sub thread is very long, which is still twenty or thirty centimeters, the effect will be greatly reduced!
The thread group can be detailed, and the fishhook also has requirements
It is also playing with lead. Thin thread is different from thick thread. Not only is it sensitive, but I personally think it is better to use thin thread. In winter, our main target fish is crucian carp. We don't need Line 2 and Line 3 to catch a crucian carp. We need a main line of 0.8 and 1.0, and sub lines of 0.4 and 0.6 are enough. I mean, if you can make it small, you can make it big.
The smaller the hook is, the better. Generally speaking, it is recommended to make it bigger. However, it is not clear whether you should make it bigger because you don't know your hook usage habits. For example, some anglers like to use the big hook themselves, so there is no need to enlarge it!
Try to choose the hook type with thinner hooks, such as stream, sleeve hook and Akita Fox. The quality of hooks is also better, and the hook tip should be sharp, so that the stickleback is smooth and not easy to unhook.
Generally speaking, the above three hook types of bait are OK. If you want to use earthworm and red worm, you can lend money. Haixi and Yidou are also OK. I usually have No. 4 and No. 5. If the fish is big, it will be No. 6.
If you can use live bait, you don't need commercial bait
Anyway, I always tell you that the effect of live bait will be better in winter. Compared with commercial bait, the mouth of live bait fish is bigger and stronger. As for whether you believe it or not, it's up to you to decide.
Theoretically, the effect of red worms is better than that of earthworms, but this is not absolute. In some places, earthworms may be even better. I personally use earthworms, which are cheap and effective.
The bait is not completely useless, so I give you two suggestions on the premise of going by water:
1. The taste should be stronger. You can add some additives such as thyme, pig's milk and milk flavor. If you don't like to use additives, you can add flavorful food, such as shrimp meal, red worm meal, fish bone meal, etc., and you can also use thyme as food. There is also the usual one or two pack of additives for brewing rice, such as musk powder, ox b crucian carp and vb.
2. The food residue can be increased. After all, it is fishing in flowing water. If the bait is washed away when it enters the water, how can we talk about fishing? Therefore, a little more wire drawing powder can be added at this time to increase the hook attachment of the bait. There must be a little residue on the hook of the pole lifting.
Some anglers may ask: What should we do if there is a large residue on the hook and a barrier? We only need to pay attention to using small bait balls when pulling bait, so that the residue is good but not very large.
